Barbara Cruz (Karate Instructor)  Barb owns and operates The Karate Dojo in Baldwinsville NY.  Barb practices Okinawa Goju Ryu, a very practical fighting art which teaches the student how to use his/her body to its full advantage.  Barb believes karate training is a benefit to both young and old alike.  Because karate is as much a way of life as a means of self protection, Barbara believes karate is for anyone who is looking for a healthful way to improve mind, body and spirit.  For more information, visit Barb's website:  www.thekaratedojo.net

Krista White (CardioHoop Instructor)

Mike Nowak (Tai Chi Instructor)  In 1988 Mike started Karate with his children and continued to study for 13 years.  His interest in Karate led him to explore Tai Chi about 20 years ago.  He began his Tai Chi studies in 2002 at an institute in Rochester, where he also learned Qi Gong.  His interests outside of martial arts and Tai Chi are photography, gardening, and traveling with his family.

Susan Bolton (Martial arts Instructor and Reiki Master Practitioner) has been a member of the World Tae Kwon Do association since 1998 and teaching since 2003. Tae Kwon Do, meaning "The art of kicking and punching" in Korea, is beneficial to everyone interested in gaining confidence, self-discipline and strength, both physically and mentally.  Susan first became interested in Reiki in 2004 while trying to get off medications that she had been on for some time. She literally wanted to take matters into her own hands and wanted to take control over her own wellbeing. She then became Reiki I and II certified in that same year.  Reiki is an old Japanese hands-on energy healing technique that can benefit people of any age and in any state of health. Susan became Reiki Master certified in August 2010 after practicing for six years. She believes Reiki is on the cusp of being accepted as one of the most beneficial and effective means of therapy for our ailing society.  While some might think that martial arts and Reiki are at two completely different ends of the spectrum, in reality they are quite similar while both using the same "universal life energy".
